How referrals work

How referrals work for RLT therapists: complete the interest form, refer a couple, and the research team follows up.

Your experience can help move RLT forward

Strong outcomes research can give RLT greater credibility, recognition, and reach. This study depends on clinicians willing to connect real-world couples with the research.

1

You are not being evaluated

The study examines how couples’ relationships change over time. It is not a test of your skill as a therapist.

2

Your part is intentionally simple

You continue your normal clinical work. The Foundation research team manages the research process.

3

Real-world referrals matter

There is no minimum referral commitment. You do not need to choose only couples you expect to do especially well.
